Welcome at the webpages dedicated to project PAEPEDE: Pathways to Excellence in Power Electronics and Electrical Drives Education.
Three departments from three different countries: Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, are collaborating and organizing a series of 3 events two-days-long, containing workshops, round tables and seminars focused on enhancing the quality of higher education teaching in power electronics and electrical drives. Each workhop will take place in one of the partners and will host participants from other partners.
Although the partners already collaborate, their cooperation is limited to the scientific field only and does not include any focus on innovative teaching. Thus, we want to build sustainable capacities in terms of technical education targeting the field of Power Electronics and Electrical Drives field.
While previous initiatives have targeted a broad range of subjects (e.g., general electrical engineering or general computer science), this initiative is specifically targeted on PEED courses.
We define the added value of this project as a diverse learning approach, as involved target groups will be exposed to diverse teaching methods and educational systems, what can enrich participants’ learning experiences and broaden their skill sets. Furthermore, by sharing resources and best practices of all partners, it will allow all target groups to have access to a wider range of educational materials, expertise, and support networks.
